At Dover Business College, we offer programs that let you focus on what you need to succeed in the world of health care. Our Patient Care Technician program will prepare you with the skills necessary to work with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to oversee and monitor patients. As a caring, dedicated member of a healthcare team, a Patient Care Technician provides patient hygiene, comfort, and safety; takes patients’ vital signs; collects specimens; and more. Patient Care Technicians who are cross-trained in venipuncture and EKG, and are certified in Phlebotomy and Electrocardiography, enjoy much broader responsibilities and advancement opportunities in the clinical setting.
