Business Organization and Management Explores the nature and scope of business, examines its component parts, and describes how business is organized and managed. Provides an integrated view of the internal and external forces comprising our business and economic system.

Principles of Management The basics of an operational theory of management are presented under the functions of planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling. Emphasis is on the manager’s role in creating and maintaining an internal environment for performance.

Principles of Marketing Introduction to the fundamental principles and practices in the marketing process. Provides a detailed study of the methods and business institutions involved in the movement of goods from producer to consumer.

Business Law Provides students with detailed knowledge of the laws relating to contracts, commerce, property, sales, negotiable instruments, and employment. Develops an awareness of business situations requiring legal counsel and a familiarization with the overall structure of our legal system

Project Management Comprehensive overview of the components that encompass project management. Students gain hands-on experience with Microsoft Project.

Spreadsheets and Database Applications Using such software as Excel and Access, students learn the basic and intermediate functions of spreadsheets as well as the fundamentals of database management.

Business Graphics and Software Integration Students learn to prepare business presentations using a software package such as Microsoft Power Point and to effectively integrate graphics, spreadsheets, word processing and database management applications.

Advanced Database Applications Database management software such as Microsoft Access is used to develop and implement database systems, multiple database query files, and reports.

Web Design I and II Using powerful design software such as Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and GoLive, students are introduced to the concepts of web design and also learn well-known coding and programming, such as HTML and Java Script, for the creation of web pages.
